摘要:本文是一篇初中英語教學論文,從問卷調查的結果來看,學生的思維品質有明顯的差異,說明學生思維品質的特點因人而異人。

筆者認為從測試結果來看,有的學生善于推斷,有的學生善于下結論。另外,從訪談的分析來看,邏輯思維越來越占據主導地位。中學生具有批判性思維能力,但由于經驗不足,思維不全面。至于像角色扮演和討論這樣的創造性活動,由于詞匯量不足,學生很少有想法。

According to English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory (2011),the overall purpose of English education is to facilitate students’ general ability toput the English language in practical use, to promote their mental development andto cultivate their humanistic qualities. As for the teaching of reading, students of theninth grade are required to reach level five of reading skills. In other words, studentsare able to infer the meaning of new words in context, figure out the logicrelationship between words and sentences, grasp the theme of an article, catch theplot preciously, and infer the development and the ending of a story, all of which areclosely linked to thinking quality. According to English Curriculum Standards forHigh Schools (2017), thinking quality is one of the four key competences in Englisheducation and the other three key competences are language ability, culturalawareness and learning capacity. Cultivating students' thinking quality is a veryimportant approach to developing their key competences. Also, possessinghigh-quality of thinking makes a profound effect on the acquisition of knowledge. Inall, thinking quality is of significance in English education.

Reading is an important way for students to acquire information, and improvereading skills, which will lay a solid foundation for students' cultivation of keycompetences. Moreover, English reading classes offer students more chances ofcultivating their thinking quality in middle schools. English education is supposed tohelp students become effective readers who usually apply more than one model intheir reading practice and prefer to use interactive reading model.

<标题> 1.2 Purpose and Significance of the Study

The quality of thinking and language competence can be considered as twodifferent aspects of the core competences. These two features affect and interact witheach other. Besides, reading ability, which is bound up with thinking quality closely,is of vital importance in English teaching and learning. Many educators and teachersfocus on studying how to cultivate thinking quality through reading class. Eventhough some studies about cultivating students' quality of thinking in English readingare taken into research, most of them only include class observation of readinglessons. However, thinking is abstract and cannot be observed preciously, as studentsmay mentally engage in reflective thinking but be silent. (Li & Wegerif, 2014). Weadvocate that teachers should apply more useful reading activities which integratedwith thinking quality, students’ advanced thinking quality in reading classes will bedeveloped and they become more efficient in solving problems.

So this study aims to investigate interactive reading model with the hope ofcultivating students' thinking quality. The purpose of the current study is to find o1he how interactive reading model influences thinking quality and reading ability.The study decides to probe into the current situation of middle school students’thinking quality, and then tries to figure out what impacts interactive reading modelmakes on students' thinking quality and how interactive reading本由提供整理,提供,,,,,,相關核心關鍵詞搜索。
